Barackryphal in the AJC

A guest editorial I wrote about Birtherism and Georgia politicians is in today's Atlanta Journal-Constitution:

‘Birther’ claptrap deserves our reproach

  1. Seems your AJC article repeats the same ole same ole. Guess if lies are told long enough some will believe them true. The only birther issue is that we do not know the truth. You sir have added nothing new to that fact. Wish you had.

  2. Mercer,

If you wish to specifically challenge or dispute any of my statements, feel free to do so. But it seems you preferred not to do that, but rather to ignore it all and simply repeat the Birther mantra. That, my friend, is denialism.

  3. Good rant, so good even Chinese spammers agree! Meanwhile:

    1. FC edited those photos after putting them online, removing EXIF data and recompressing them. And, they didn't note that they did that. They never explained why the EXIF data had a date months before the pics were taken. That doesn't mean they're fake, but it doesn't exactly indicate a great deal of openness.

    2. The two workers for FC are not document experts.

    3. The newspaper announcements don't even have BHO's name. They don't have the city or hospital where he was born. No one's been able to prove that they could only have come from a HI birth hospital; because of that it's still possible that they were placed (perhaps using social engineering) by proud grandparents who'd learned of a foreign birth.

That doesn't mean that he was born here or there. It just means that those who smear using "birthers" haven't made their case; that's part of the reason why they have to smear.

As a lawyer, Loren Collins should know the difference between evidence and proof, but apparently there's some kind of an issue there. What we have is strong evidence, but it isn't proof.

For all the details on the cert issue, see my extensive coverage:

I've repeatedly challenged anyone to find anything wrong or illogical on any of those dozens of posts, and the most that BHO supporters have been able to come up with is one ad hom after another. I don't expect that to change.

  4. Wow, yet another "most intelligent person in the world...NOT" nutcase, popping in to plug his own website with BS.

    It's popcorn and ass-whooping time!

  5. "The newspaper announcements don't even have BHO's name."

Neither does the newspaper announcement of my birth, published in the Harlan Daily Enterprise (Harlan, Kentucky) a week or so after I was born. Does that somehow make ME a foreigner?

  6. Your "birther mantra" is the specific challenge and dispute of your statements and the issue at hand. What did you miss? You do not know, I do not know, no one knows. Yes, and anyone who desires so should know. Denial? Are you projecting?
